Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from shelves based on order forms, carefully packing these items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is critical to our logistics operations, requiring a focus on speed, accuracy, and quality. We are committed to a safe working environment and provide thorough training on proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Safely and efficiently pack items into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy and stock organization.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Awareness of and adherence to safety regulations.
