We are actively recruiting for dependable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is vital to the efficiency and success of our logistics network. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming inventory.
- Stock and organize products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments by labeling packages and ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory management processes, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Strictly follow all company policies and safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform manual material handling tasks, employing safe Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless operations.
- Support the overall effectiveness of our logistics and supply chain operations.
- Uphold a strong commitment to safety and efficiency in all tasks performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking technology.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for the entire shift.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse best practices.
- Dedication to safety, including consistent use of PPE and adherence to safe Lifting procedures.
