We are hiring Picker/Packers for our Jacksonville, Florida distribution center. This dynamic role involves accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. You will be an integral part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high level of Safety in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for outgoing shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and replenishment activities.
- Must be capable of frequent and repetitive Lifting of items up to 30 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform regular Lifting throughout the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and practices.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Familiarity with logistics and shipping processes is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a positive team environment.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards.
