Our dynamic distribution center in Des Moines, Iowa, is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate. This role is fundamental to our operations, involving a variety of tasks that support the efficient flow of goods. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping activities, contributing to the overall success of our logistics network. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and productivity. You'll work collaboratively with other associates to meet daily operational targets and ensure customer satisfaction. This position offers a great opportunity to learn various aspects of warehouse operations and grow within our company. We provide comprehensive training and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving incoming shipments and verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stocking merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking orders accurately based on customer requirements.
- Packing orders securely for shipment.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Participating in inventory control activities as needed.
