We are hiring Picker/Packers for our bustling distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you're detail-oriented and enjoy a physically active role within the logistics industry, this is the job for you! As a Picker/Packer, your main responsibility will be accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and ensuring the correct quantities are picked. Once picked, you will carefully pack the items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are protected during transit. A strong understanding of our inventory system is beneficial, and you will be trained on all aspects of our picking and packing processes. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation is essential, as is adhering to all Safety guidelines. This role requires consistent Lifting and manual dexterity. Your contribution is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by scanning items.
- Keep workstation clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Follow all company procedures and Safety guidelines.
- Contribute to team efforts and assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and Lifting throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations.
- Understanding of inventory management.
- Commitment to Safety and the use of PPE.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain a plus.
