This role is critical to the smooth operation of our extensive logistics network. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock inventory accurately.
- Pick products from inventory based on customer orders and sales orders.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on Safety and quality control.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE , such as safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational goals and deadlines within the Logistics chain.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 60 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety .
- Willingness to wear and utilize all required PPE .
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
