We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is essential to our logistics operations, focusing on accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will be a key contributor to ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and precise order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock according to customer order details.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve products.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring appropriate materials are used.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required by the job.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order specifications.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and standing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Commitment to Safety in the workplace.
