We are hiring an Order Picker for our bustling warehouse in Orlando, Florida. The Order Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial for our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and promptly. You will work with a dedicated team to maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are properly stored.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as directed.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Report any damaged goods or discrepancies to a supervisor.
- Contribute to team goals and assist colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and bending.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and following all workplace guidelines.
