We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our operations in Seattle, Washington. This role is integral to our supply chain and logistics network, involving a wide range of warehouse duties from inventory management to order fulfillment. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods, maintaining organized storage, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, documenting any discrepancies.
- Accurately store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required).
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE, and contribute to a safety-conscious culture.
- Support overall logistics efficiency.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Physical capacity to handle repetitive lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures within a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
