Join our growing team as a Picker/Packer in our efficient warehouse located in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately and in excellent condition. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and then carefully preparing them for shipment. This involves scanning items, verifying quantities, boxing products, and applying shipping labels. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this position. You will work in a fast-paced environment and play a vital role in our logistics operations. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to order specifications.
- Scan items to ensure correct product and quantity selection.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as restocking and inventory counts.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for order sheets.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment is helpful.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics processes.
- Adherence to all workplace Safety rules.
- Willingness to wear assigned PPE.
