Join our cutting-edge distribution center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Distribution Center Associate! We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to our efficient and accurate logistics operations. This role is multifaceted, encompassing a range of tasks critical to getting products to our customers. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your efforts are key to our operational success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks within the distribution center, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Accurately select products based on order requirements, using scanning technology and order lists.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation and reporting discrepancies.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas, maintaining organization and proper inventory rotation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stocktaking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all distribution center goals are met effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Capability of lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
