We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating various types of forklifts in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, moving raw materials and finished products, and ensuring inventory accuracy. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount in this position. Experience with both sit-down and stand-up forklifts is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport raw materials, full goods, and empty containers to and from production and storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the logistics operations.
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Forklift Operator. Valid forklift certification. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs). Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. Knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse setting. Must be reliable and punctual. Experience with RF scanners is beneficial.
