Our Washington, D.C. facility is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials. This role requires a valid forklift certification and proven experience in a warehouse setting. You will be involved in various aspects of our logistics operations, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is paramount, as is adherence to all safety regulations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied, and strict adherence to its use is required. The job involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and regular lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and you will participate in ongoing safety training to reinforce best practices for forklift operation and general warehouse safety.
