We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations within our warehouse. You will be responsible for safely and accurately moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety protocols. Your daily tasks will involve operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to transport materials throughout the facility. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accurate inventory management and prevent damage to goods. - Safely operate forklifts to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Must have a valid forklift certification. Proven experience operating forklifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is a plus. We prioritize safety above all else and expect all team members to actively participate in maintaining a secure workplace.
