We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Prepare packed orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe picking and packing station.
- Track inventory levels for picked and packed items.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Meet or exceed daily picking and packing productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and accuracy.
- Capability for moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting of up to 30 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic Logistics principles.
- Strong attention to detail is crucial for order accuracy.
- Commitment to maintaining a Safety -conscious work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to wear and utilize all required PPE .
- Good time management skills.
