Are you ready to be a key player in our operations? We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is vital for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, you will meticulously gather products based on customer orders, utilizing state-of-the-art technology like RF scanners. Your speed and precision are paramount in this fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of orders from selection to staging for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from storage locations using order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order details to prevent errors.
- Pack orders safely and efficiently, preparing them for transit.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and clutter-free warehouse space.
- Strictly follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Report any stock discrepancies or picking issues to management promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Capability to handle tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and bending.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
