We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient order processing and accurate inventory management. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to the overall success of our operations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, proactive, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using provided technology and equipment.
- Prepare items for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and record-keeping.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Understand and follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
- Be aware of and adhere to all Lifting guidelines to prevent injuries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse technology and scanning equipment is desirable.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
