Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Phoenix, Arizona! We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is fundamental to the efficient functioning of our logistics and distribution processes. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your contributions are key to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Ensure correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Be prepared for lifting and moving products of varying sizes and weights, adhering to safe lifting techniques.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse and contribute to team goals.
- Report any safety hazards, damages, or operational issues to supervision promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
