We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team in the heart of New York City. This role is critical to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and shipped. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and possesses a strong work ethic. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including pallet jacks and other material handling devices.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all company PPE requirements, including wearing safety glasses and appropriate footwear.
- Be prepared for lifting packages of various sizes and weights, with maximum lifting capacity clearly defined.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and contribute to overall logistics efficiency.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
