Your responsibilities will span various essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise into designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets, verifying accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for carriers, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts safely (training available).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to company standards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and audits.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a strong asset.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
