We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is key to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of warehouse tasks, from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after proper certification.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely.
- Understanding of inventory management and logistics principles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following all protocols.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Proficiency with scanning equipment and basic computer skills is beneficial.
