Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Perform general administrative duties to support department operations by tracking shipments and purchase orders using SAP, and maintaining accurate records in Excel. Order and manage office supplies to ensure a smooth workflow, check in and validate inventory of sample parts, and review paperwork for incoming parts.

Responsibilities

  • Track shipments and purchase orders using SAP.
  • Maintain accurate records in Excel.
  • Order and manage office supplies for smooth workflow.
  • Check in and validate inventory of sample parts (approximately 40–50 per week).
  • Review and confirm paperwork for incoming parts, notifying engineers upon arrival.
  • Maintain organized documentation for inventory and shipment updates.
  • Perform conference/meeting planning and preparation of documents.
  • Coordinate basic tasks and compile records and documentation.
  • Gather data and prepare standard and custom reports for decision making.
  • Support department-specific needs based on specialty.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in an Administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate professionally both internally and externally.
  • Intermediate SAP or Ariba experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to support department-specific needs.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, with the option of starting from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Fridays are work-from-home days, while office attendance is mandatory from Monday to Thursday. The role offers PTO, Holiday Pay, and Paid shutdown benefits while contracting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $25.75/hr.
