Housekeeper

Aristos Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking for a full-time Housekeeper to join our team

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in infection control and ensure that our facility remains a welcoming home for all.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms according to facility standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Dust furniture, clean windows, and ensure all surfaces are free of debris and contaminants.
• Empty trash and biohazardous waste containers safely and efficiently.
• Replenish soap, paper towels, and other essential supplies throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control practices, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager and other staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained daily.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably within a healthcare or nursing home setting.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the use of industrial cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and proper handling of cleaning chemicals (OSHA).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
• A commitment to providing a clean and safe environment that enhances the well-being of our residents.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for the duration of the shift.
