The Opportunity:
CACI is excited to announce an opening for a Software Engineering Intern at our Annapolis Junction, MD facility. This hybrid role offers flexibility with a 90% remote work arrangement and a 10% in-person presence as required.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in designing communication and electronic warfare systems. CACI provides design, development, modeling and simulation, analysis, prototyping and testing of advanced electronic system and various antennas.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in designing, developing, and testing sophisticated electronics firmware and software.
- Design, write and debug real-time embedded firmware applications for DoD electronic products and user interfaces (GUIs).
- Effectively employ proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools, such as C, C#, C++, and assemblers for various processors, to create robust and efficient software applications, ensuring high-quality code standards and optimal performance
Qualifications:
Required:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor or master's in software engineering.
- GPA of 3.0 or greater is required.
- Self-motivated individual with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work and collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office Products.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired:
- Experience using MBSE and MDD development tools.
- Experience for development of microservices and implementing third party/open-source commercial databases.
- Knowledge of VHDL simulation – using part vendor tools or third party (Xilinx Sim, Active HDL, ModelSim etc.)
- Knowledge of or experience in working with simulation tools such as HFSS, Microwave Office or Matlab.
- Familiar with software languages like C/C++, Java, MATLAB etc.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$45,900 - $91,900
