Hospital Deployment Engineer

As a Hospital Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for helping build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will design hardware configurations, patch server & workstation operating systems, install software, maintain Active Directory, and train teammates on correct operating procedures. This is a critical role for ensuring our 850+ hospitals have a dynamic and stable system to meet their needs.

• Managing and Maintaining Infrastructure: You will be responsible for all installed systems and infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of availability.
• Installing and Configuring Systems: You'll install, configure, test, and maintain computer/server operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Designing and Building Hardware: You will design and install new computer and server hardware configurations.
• Troubleshooting and Support: You'll troubleshoot complex network and software issues, respond to general IT requests, and fix hardware/software problems.
• Ensuring System Health: You will be responsible for ensuring all operating system software is kept up to date and maintained.

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a systems engineer or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of computer/server hardware systems.
• Deep knowledge of general OS systems and networking (OSI layers, TCP/IP).
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware).
• Knowledge of networking security systems and monitoring systems.
• Some scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts).
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be available for occasional bi-weekly remote deployments (less than 10% travel).
