You are a capable, commercially minded copywriter with a strong interest in technology. You are comfortable writing across multiple formats and audiences and take ownership of the quality and accuracy of your work. You bring experience, judgement, and confidence to the role, while remaining curious, open-minded, and committed to continuous improvement. You will play an important role in Bluefruit’s sales and marketing team, developing and delivering written content that supports business growth, strengthens our brand, and helps customers understand complex technical topics. You have excellent research, planning, writing, spelling, grammar, and editing skills. You contribute ideas proactively and can shape them into effective content with minimal direction. You are used to adapting tone, structure, and format to suit different audiences and channels. You do not need a degree in a relevant field, but you must have professional writing experience and a portfolio of work you can share if requested. You will already have experience writing copy for business or working as a journalist. You have likely written for more than just web or print, such as video, audio, presentations, or other multimedia formats. You understand SEO fundamentals and how content contributes to visibility and performance. You are comfortable assessing the credibility of sources and working with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy. You are familiar with AI tools and use them appropriately to support, not replace, your writing. Key responsibilities
Independently research, write, edit, and publish high-quality content across a range of formats. Work with stakeholders across the business, and with customers where appropriate, to understand requirements and translate complex ideas into clear, engaging content. Develop, propose, and prioritise content ideas in collaboration with the sales and marketing team. Maintain quality, consistency, and accuracy across all written outputs, in line with brand and style guidelines. Essential skills and knowledge
Excellent planning, writing, spelling, grammar, and editing skills. Strong research skills using digital, online, and printed sources. Confidence applying in-house style guides and tone of voice consistently. A strong understanding of writing for different formats, styles, and channels, with proven depth in some areas. Desirable skills and knowledge
Experience writing for B2B technology audiences. Confidence collaborating with engineers, product specialists, and commercial teams to understand and communicate complex subjects.
