Whether assisting with product demos, managing transactions at the POS (Point of Sale) system, or supervising team members, your proactive approach will make a real difference. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop retail skills, enhance customer service expertise, and grow within a vibrant environment. This position starts between $12.00 -$15.00 plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their shopping needs.
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts.
• Conduct engaging product demos to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-presented.
• Manage stock levels through stocking shelves and inventory management to maintain an inviting shopping environment.
• Support supervising team members by guiding new staff and maintaining a positive team atmosphere.
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance their experience.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and clearly.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions.
• Proven customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Supervising experience is preferred to help lead team efforts smoothly.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions, stock counts, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques and product demonstrations to boost sales performance.

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
