Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
The Technical Project Manager works with customers to help them achieve their business outcomes. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing and drive end-to-end project execution on Google Cloud Platform with your technical acumen combined with strong project management experience and skills.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in handling and managing large scale transformation projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Define project scope, create and track detailed project plan and deliverables
- Oversee daily project activities, track progress, assign tasks and monitor progress
- Serve as a liaison to coordinate with cross functional teams and provide regular updates to technology and business stakeholders
- Identify, mitigate and resolve technical issues and project risks
- Ensure project meets specifications and quality standards
- Proficient in Agile methodology and tools - Jira, Confluence etc.
- Critical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead, influence and communicate clearly
- Technical expertise and strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SRE and DevOps area is a must
- Experience with GCP Core Services: Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL
- Experience with Infrastructure, Networking, Terraform, CICD Pipelines and Deployment on GCP.
- Preferred Certifications: Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer / Architect, CKA (Kubernetes Administrator).
- Familiarity with ITIL, Change Advisory Board (CAB) and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Technical Project Manager is the expert of a customer engagement team – consulting with customers and responsible for end-to-end project management – all with the goal of accelerating and driving customer business outcomes.

- Support testing of developed solutions during the development stage of the engagement, in partnership with Technical Resources
- Drive user-acceptance testing requirements throughout and at key stages of an engagement
- Be a lead member of an overall engagement project team focused on delivering successful and substantive customer outcomes
- Responsible for all project deliverables
- Collaborate with the c ustomer to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues.

Key Expectations
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, sponsors, and stakeholders to understand challenges and align solutions with business goals.
Requirement Gathering: Lead workshops to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for the delivery team.
Delivery Expertise: Act as a Technical Project Manager on Google Cloud Platform, guiding the team towards successful delivery of assigned deliverables.
Implementation Support: Work with technical teams, provide input on testing, and support UAT and deployment.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track the progress of the committed deliverables, provide regular status to the customer and stakeholders, conduct meetings and share status reports, proactively highlight risks in the project along with their mitigation plans.
Training & Adoption: Conduct training, provide mentorship, and support change management to ensure successful user adoption.
Documentation: Create project plans, process documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional design documents.
