Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

In need of a Full time or Part time/PRN COTA for geriatric home health in Bridgetown, Price hill, White oak, Harrison, Cheviot, Green Township and surrounding areas for 10-35 visits weekly. Make your own schedule, work when it fits your schedule. Very busy home health company with steady referral base and a consistent schedule. Please submit resume. 40$-45$ per visit. Visits are 35 minutes. If you are new to home health, you are welcome to apply.

Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Work with patients of all ages, with a focus on geriatrics
- Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Help patients develop or regain skills for daily living and work activities
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home-based care

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical imaging and its application in occupational therapy
- Ability to work in acute care settings, such as hospitals or rehabilitation centers
- Understanding of occupational health principles and practices
