About ISPC
The Islamic Society of Pinellas County (ISPC) is a long-standing nonprofit organization that has served the Muslim community of Pinellas County and the greater Tampa Bay area for nearly three decades. ISPC operates a mosque and has recently acquired a 12-acres campus with 40,000+ Sq ft facilities, expanding its footprint with a grand masjid, an affiliated school, several multi purpose buildings, offering religious services, education, youth programming, community events, and social support.
ISPC's mission is to serve Allah by building a strong, principled and welcoming Muslim community through worship, education, service and outreach, all while maintaining transparency, professionalism and Islamic ethics in all operations.
About the Role
The Administrator is a key operational role responsible for the day-to-day administrative functioning of ISPC's mosque and school. This person will serve as an organizational pillar, ensuring that programs, staff, volunteers and leadership are supported through clear communication, strong organization, and dependable execution.
This is a paid role (salary & benefits), and will work closely with ISPC leadership to keep operations running smoothly while upholding Islamic values and nonprofit best practices.

- Experienced in administration, preferably within education or nonprofit settings
- Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities at once

What You'll Do
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the mosque and school
- Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, congregants, staff, and community members
- Manage office functions including scheduling, correspondence, filing, and recordkeeping
- Support school administration with enrollment processes, student records, and parent communications
- Coordinate calendars, events, meetings, and facility usage across ISPC programs
- Assist with staff and volunteer coordination, onboarding documentation, and scheduling
- Maintain organized records in accordance with nonprofit and internal requirements
- Support financial administration by organizing invoices, receipts, and documentation (in coordination with Finance)
- Assist with community services such as Janaza coordination, school events, and special programs
- Help ensure smooth communication between leadership, committees, staff, and volunteers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of administrative experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and document management tools (MS Office, Google Workspace or similar)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a school, educational program, or nonprofit organization
- Experience supporting community-based or volunteer-driven organizations
- Familiarity with mosque, school, or faith-based environments
- Bilingual (English/Arabic/Urdu/Bengali or other languages) is a plus
