Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our apartment buildings. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational efficiency
• Conduct repairs involving electrical work, plumbing, painting/drywall, and HVAC servicing
• Manage facilities maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, HVAC servicing, lawn care, and general repairs to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality
• Use email to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks
• Ensuring timely completion with quality standards in mind
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenants needs promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting/drywall, lawn care, and general carpentry skills
• Demonstrate the ability to oversee projects effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
