Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Security Guard role located in Redondo Beach, CA. The Security Guard will be responsible for patrolling and monitoring premises to maintain security and prevent unauthorized access. Responsibilities include responding promptly to alarms, detecting and reporting suspicious activities, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, and maintaining accurate records of incidents. The Security Guard will also enforce regulations and procedures and work collaboratively with other security team members and emergency services when needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in security operations and safety management
• Proficiency in surveillance systems and facilities monitoring
• Ability to efficiently manage access control and respond to emergencies
• Strong observation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in varying environments and conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security and safety are a plus
• Previous experience in a security or similar role is beneficial
• Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and act decisively in emergencies
