About Owl Therapy

Owl Therapy is a virtual-first mental health care company that is evolving how we think about our health: not just physical, not exclusively mental, but whole-person health. Our company is a new telemedicine company backed by Healthcare Shares Venture Studio, which invests and incubates startups that focus on bringing joy & fulfilment back to clinicians and improving health outcomes and care experience for every person regardless of health insurance coverage. By dynamically and continuously assessing members' needs and their overall health, we guide members to appropriate care resources and make it easier to live meaningful, healthier lives. The Role: Therapist (LMFT, LMT, LCP, LCPC, PsyD / PhD - psychology or clinical psychology, LCSW, LSW)

Location: Remote, but licensed or eligible to be licensed to provide telemedicine services in Florida

Engagement: Part-Time, Contract

Compensation: Hourly rate or flat per session (based on type, length, etc.). Hourly rate and session rates will vary based on therapists' licenses, experience, etc.

We are currently looking for therapists and counselors to offer therapeutic services to Owl Therapy members. Owl Therapy is a digital health company focused on creating better access to care and personalized care & treatment recommendations, balancing the members' goals and preferences with the care team's recommendations. We are seeking highly qualified and licensed therapists who embrace technology and innovation and want to help us change the way that mental health is delivered and to be part of a growing team who is committed to creating a culture of trust, passion for healthcare, kindness, and innovation.

Owl Therapy is an early stage startup and is committed to supporting our care team members, employees, and members.

Responsibilities:

● Conduct psychotherapy and other therapeutic services for members on the Owl Therapy platform

● Document and complete progress notes, SOAP notes, and updates on members' goals and health plans after sessions

● Collaborate within the current workflows of our team-based care model to manage and communicate about best practices and recommendations for members' care, even if not seeing the member directly ● Provide feedback on your provider experience to help us improve the technology, experience, etc. while working with Owl Therapy members

● Provide expertise on behavioral health assessments, mental health, and well-being services that Owl Therapy can or should offer

● Collaborate via Zoom meetings and online discussion forum with advisory board members and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

● Must be a licensed and board-certified psychologist or licensed therapist

● Telemedicine experience strongly preferred, but not required

● Willingness to adapt and change workflows regularly as we innovate and explore the best workflows for improving health outcomes, reducing cost, and optimizing members' experiences.

● Experience working with innovation teams and non-clinical leaders strongly preferred

● Be licensed, or willing to get licensed, to practice telemedicine in the state of Florida

● Carry liability and malpractice insurance for you, individually, to deliver therapeutic services
