Childcare Bus Driver

Position Title: Childcare Bus Driver

Status: Part-Time

Locations: Salem Methodist Church 2165 Middle Rd. Eastover, NC 28312

Fill Date: Immediately

Actively seeking to fill a CDL with Passenger endorsement Driver role to transport children from school to the childcare program at Salem Methodist Church. Will support the children and youth of our community working closely with parents and volunteers to create an environment that supports the spiritual, emotional, and social growth of young members in the faith of Jesus Christ.

Key Qualifications:

A deep personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for working with children and youth.

Previous experience 3-5 years driving a passenger bus for small children preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children, youth, and their families.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain as well as obtaining other certifications require for a child daycare setting.

Successfully pass a background check and submit to random drug screening.

Working Conditions:

Monday through Friday (Times will very based on shift).

Flexibility in hours, activities may vary seasonally dependent on program needs.

Bend, scoop, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.

All policies and procedures are expected to be adhered to and followed closely. This includes being knowledgeable in and adhering to Safe Sanctuaries practices and policies. All employees will adhere to the employee handbook, perform the above listed duties, and all other duties assigned by their leadership.
