Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner will lead all HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance functions while serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership. This role requires a hands-on professional who can build and formalize processes, manage multi-state payroll and benefits, ensure compliance, and support talent management and organizational growth. This role drives organizational success through innovative HR strategies in a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously improving workplace.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead and manage all HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance functions
● Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll through QuickBooks Online, including audits and tax compliance
● Administer 401(k), HSA, benefits, and insurance programs; coordinate with brokers and vendors
● Develop, document, and maintain HR and payroll policies and procedures
● Manage full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
● Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and workplace safety standards
● Maintain secure personnel records and handle employee relations matters
● Partner with leadership on training, risk management, and special projects
● Collaborate with operational leadership on aviation-specific HR requirements (as applicable)

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (required)

● 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and benefits administration
● Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and employment compliance
● Strong expertise in human capital management across the employee lifecycle

● Experience with QuickBooks Online and benefits/retirement platforms
● SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred
● Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills
● Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives effectively

● Aviation industry experience preferred but not required

Pay: $80, $95,000.00 per year
