Food Runner/Busser/Server

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender or Server to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender or Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing exceptional customer service and expertly crafted beverages. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every patron feels welcome and satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their tastes.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including Toast POS, to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is an advantage.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, sales techniques, and food handling practices is beneficial.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
