About the Role:

A Shift Supervisor, is tasked with ensuring that a restaurant runs smoothly. This can involve many different tasks, such as opening and closing duties, training and coaching crew members, managing daily cash handling operations, responding to customer complaints and resolving them, ensuring compliance with all food health and safety requirements, and demonstrating superior customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead opening, mid, or closing shifts with confidence.
• Provide exceptional customer service skills, attentive service and ensure satisfaction with every customer interaction.
• Manage floor operational flow and help maintain fast, accurate service.
• Support breaks and shift coverage without losing momentum or disruption of service.
• Train, motivate and coach restaurant crew members in real time.
• Give positive feedback and respectfully correct performance issues.
• Step in on any station when needed to support the team as needed.
• Focus primarily on the overall beauty and cleanliness of the restaurant from the outdoor entrances to the dining room.
• Respond to customer inquiries, complaints and feedback with a sense of urgency and resolve them effectively to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Complete the open, mid, or close checklists and logs daily.
• Track and log cleanliness or service concerns in the shift report.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification (required).
• Experience in a fast food or quick-service restaurant, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role (preferred).
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certification or able to obtain within 90 days of employment (preferred).
• Proven ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong organization, time-management and multi-tasking skills.
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as the business dictates.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
