Associate Attorney
with
2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
to join our
Ft. Lauderdale team
. While this role works with our Ft. Lauderdale based team, the successful candidate can work from Ft. Lauderdale, our Tampa office or be fully remote. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented litigator to handle a diverse caseload and grow within a dynamic, trial-focused firm recognized for excellence nationwide.

What You'll Do

As part of our Florida Insurance Defense team, you will manage a broad range of matters, including:

• General civil litigation and insurance defense
• Construction defect litigation
• Premises liability
• Transportation and trucking defense
• Professional liability
• Catastrophic injury cases

Responsibilities Include

• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
• Managing discovery and case strategy
• Attending hearings, mediations, and pre-trial conferences
• Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
• Assisting with trial preparation and participating in trial as needed

This position offers the opportunity to gain significant hands-on experience and mentorship from seasoned trial attorneys in a supportive, collaborative environment.

What We're Looking For

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (required)
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense and general civil litigation
• Experience with construction defect, premises liability, and professional liability preferred
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Proven ability to handle discovery, motion practice, and depositions independently
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Team-oriented with a proactive, client-focused approach
