The Role
As an Interior Designer II / Interior Architect II, you'll help shape design concepts and carry them through documentation and early construction coordination. You'll contribute to multiple projects at once, producing interiors that are both conceptually strong and technically sound. You're comfortable working across all project phases and can generate coordinated construction documents with limited oversight.
What You'll Do
Design & Planning
- Support design from concept through documentation
- Create presentations, renderings, elevations, and FF&E/material selections
- Build FF&E packages, coordinate with vendors, and refine designs based on feedback
Project Coordination
- Assist with client and internal meeting materials
- Help develop work plans and track progress against schedule and budget
- Coordinate with consultants and integrate BIM deliverables
- Support responses to RFIs, submittals, and contractor questions
- Offer guidance to junior team members
Documentation
- Produce DD and CD sets with moderate-to-minimal oversight
- Develop finish and fixture schedules
- Review consultant drawings for alignment and accuracy
- Contribute to specs and maintain document consistency
- Redline and self-check work to ensure quality
Quality & Construction Support
- Follow studio standards, checklists, and QA/QC processes
- Maintain knowledge of codes, ADA requirements, and BIM protocols
- Participate in site visits, existing conditions surveys, and CA documentation
- Help track RFIs, submittals, and punch-list items
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 6+ years of professional interiors experience with a strong portfolio
- Proficient in Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office
- Strong design, communication, and organizational abilities
