Our dynamic fulfillment center in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our growing logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role requires physical stamina, a methodical approach, and a strong commitment to Safety. You will work with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate and confirm items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or handheld scanner.
- Locate items on warehouse shelves and ensure correct product and quantity.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
- Use appropriate PPE when required.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage.
- Meet established picking rates and quality standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing for extended periods, and frequent Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Experience with RF scanners or WMS is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance goals.
- Team player mentality.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
