We are expanding our team in Dallas, Texas, and seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to contribute to our efficient warehouse and logistics operations. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining the organization of our inventory. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe and timely handling of goods, operating powered industrial trucks with precision and care. A thorough understanding of Safety protocols and equipment maintenance is essential. This role demands an individual who is reliable, safety-conscious, and possesses excellent operational skills. - Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Move, stack, and stage inventory within the warehouse as directed.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper put-away and retrieval.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding Safety and PPE usage.
- Support other warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting.
- Current Forklift Operator certification or license.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 1-2 years) operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations pertaining to forklift operation.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including occasional moderate Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and good spatial judgment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated team.
- Commitment to upholding high Safety standards.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
