We are looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our bustling warehouse in Dallas, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be navigating our warehouse using order sheets or scanning devices to locate and retrieve the correct items. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Ensure correct quantities are picked for each order.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety regulations and the proper use of required PPE.
- Keep the work area clean and free of hazards.
- Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player mentality and good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is beneficial.
