Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock received merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for delivery carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and overall warehouse goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Understanding of basic inventory management and logistics processes.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
