Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to procedures and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce all safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors for timely deliveries and shipments.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on warehouse activities.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership or coordinator role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in safety procedures and experience enforcing them, including PPE.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
