In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and packaging a wide variety of products for our valued customers. Your daily tasks will involve interpreting order tickets, retrieving the correct items from their storage locations, and preparing them for shipment with precision and care. You will contribute directly to the seamless flow of goods within our distribution center. Success in this role requires a strong focus on detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. We are dedicated to fostering a safe work environment, and all team members must rigorously follow Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves regular Lifting of items, and physical fitness is important. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of picking and packing stations.
- Meet individual and team productivity targets.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and protocols.
- Use provided PPE diligently.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is advantageous.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 45 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Understanding of basic Safety practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Familiarity with logistics and distribution center operations is a plus.
