Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our busy logistics center in Denver, Colorado. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in our warehouse. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our facility and ensuring the timely preparation of shipments. This role requires a strong understanding of forklift operation safety procedures and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. We prioritize the safety of our employees above all else, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations and meet demanding deadlines. Responsibilities include:
  • Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
  • Storing and retrieving inventory from high shelves and designated storage areas.
  • Assisting with order picking and packing as needed, utilizing forklift capabilities.
  • Conducting pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and locations.
  • Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Contributing to overall logistics efficiency and operational goals.
This position requires a valid forklift operator certification and experience. You must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds and be comfortable working at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
