Become a key player in our San Diego, California warehouse as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals to accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is fundamental to our customer satisfaction, requiring speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You will utilize handheld scanners and follow picking lists to retrieve items from various warehouse locations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys an active role and wants to contribute to a smooth-flowing logistics operation. Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately using a handheld scanner and pick lists.
- Locate products in various warehouse locations.
- Pack items appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Stage orders for shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Assist with stock rotation and replenishment of picking locations.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding order status or any issues encountered.
- Contribute to overall team goals within the logistics department.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous order picking experience is a strong asset. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 30 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with RF scanning technology. Understanding of warehouse safety principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Commitment to providing excellent service in a logistics setting.
