We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker in San Antonio, Texas! Join our dedicated team and play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and precisely select items from our warehouse inventory based on customer orders. You will utilize RF scanning technology to navigate our facility and locate products. This fast-paced role is integral to our logistics operations, and attention to detail is paramount. We are committed to maintaining a Safe work environment and fostering teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using pick sheets or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare selected items for shipment by packing them securely and applying appropriate labels.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies.
- Strictly follow all Safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Report any picking errors, inventory discrepancies, or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily picking targets and ensure efficient workflow.
- Contribute to the overall success of our warehouse logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in an order picking or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with RF scanning devices and basic computer skills is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
