Join our vibrant logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Fulfillment Associate! This role is central to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, meticulously packing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are processed efficiently. A commitment to accuracy, speed, and workplace safety is essential. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Pack items with care to prevent damage during shipping, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Verify order accuracy against packed items.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, contributing to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment and logistics targets.
- Operate manual lifting equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or picking/packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles and the use of PPE.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability are key.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
