We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed will be crucial in supporting our logistics operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves active work, including navigating the warehouse, identifying products, and preparing them for shipment. We prioritize a safe working environment and offer opportunities for growth within the logistics field.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick lists, or other provided tools.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently and safely.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items appropriately for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety standards.
- Follow all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding order status and any discrepancies encountered.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- A commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a logistics setting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
